"White Man"

Kai learned his colors quite quickly. He knows lots of them--red, blue, yellow, green, pink, purple, orange, etc. For some reason, though, there are two colors that he consistently confuses--white and black. Yesterday morning we worked on it a bit, and he seemed to get it. But that's happened before and then he'll say something to indicate that it didn't stick. On our way out of Wal-Mart in the afternoon, Kai addressed the greeter saying "Bye Bye Man". He thought it was great and kept shouting "Bye Bye Man" as we walked away. And then before I knew it, "Bye Bye" changed to "White Man"!. Over and over he shouted "White Man, White Man". At least this time, he was right! I got a bit embarrassed, though, and started to move more quickly. Looking back, I was glad that it wasn't Michael Jackson! I'm not ready to explain that one yet!
