Wendy's Kid's Meal

Yesterday Kai and I traveled into Colorado Springs for an appointment. After we were done, I thought we'd do some errands while we were there. We made a stop at CostCo and before I knew it, it was lunch time. While heading home with our goods, I decided to drive-thru at Wendy's. (There's no Wendy's really close to us and a good Frosty fix every now and then never hurts!) I knew what I wanted, but couldn't figure out what to get Kai. So, after some pondering, I ordered him a cheeseburger kid's meal. Who would've known it would be a huge hit?!! Kai has only had a hamburger once before, so I wasn't sure what he'd make of it. But he insisted on eating this burger by himself and he loved it! It was the first time I've seen him eat a sandwich as a sandwich. Normally he disects it, eats only the parts he wants, and insists I break it into little bites. I think that's why I really love this picture of my boy eating like a big boy!
