Out With the Old

Tonight is the last for our old dilapidated deck.  Bright and early tomorrow morning our contractor will be out here to start ripping it out (and it's ugly friend the hot tub pad).  I'm excited to see it go and to have a nice new deck.  I'll admit that I'm a bit nervous about the process of getting the new deck (having contractors around is just not on my list of "favorites"), but hopefully it'll all be worth it.  And hopefully the hammering for the next month won't be too loud that Finn will never nap again!

Goodbye ratty old deck.  There's even a board that you look through all the way to the ground.  And then there were the pieces of wood from the deck that just fell off onto the patio on their own.  Yep, it's time to say goodbye.
