For Kai's writing assignment this week he has to describe a sailboat. First he drew his picture in pencil and wrote his sentences and then I brought him the crayons. His teacher requires that they use at least 5 different colors in their drawings. He was dragging his feet and not wanting to complete the last step in the assignment. At my repeated nagging Kai replies, "But this is history. Do you know what history looks like?" So, I took the bait and asked, "What does history look like?" Kai responds, "It's all brown."
He's too smart for his own good!
