World Traveler

After Kai blew out the candles when he turned 4, one of our friends asked him, "Now that you're 4, what are you going to do?"  Kai's answer was, "Travel the world!".  It made us all laugh, but didn't surprise me at all.  He frequently asks about different countries or places and asks if we can go "someday".  A couple of weeks ago I decided that the best way to deal with this was to ask him to make a list so that one day when he was big enough to travel on his own he would have a list of the places he would like to see.  This list has been growing.  As of today, here's what his list looks like.

Notice the heading--Vucasun list translates to Vacation list
And the following are listed (beginning with the top left)--
Black Sea
Seeing sea snakes (he wants to do this in a submarine)
Disney land
Rushue (Russia)
China
Canudu (Canada)
new zeland (New Zealand)
alascu (Alaska)
Jpan (Japan)
Antarotic (Antarctic)
Arctic
ingland (England)
afrucu (Africa)
madugascar (Madagascar)
astralea (Australia)
Brusil (Brazil)
Gulom ilids (spread out on two rows--Galapagos Islands)
sowth amaricu (South America)

What's funny is that he is telling me that he can't go back to anywhere he's already been until he goes to these locations first.  Including Disney World!!  I have a feeling he just might change his mind on that.  But it sure does seem like he's going to be busy when he gets old enough to venture out on his own.

That's quite a list! He'll have to compete in the geography bee!
