Rainy Season
The locals tell us that normally June/July is the "rainy season" and August is sweltering hot. Well, July was awful and now that we're in August it seems the sun has disappered. Last week we had thunderstorms, lightning, and pouring rain 4 out of 5 days and there were a few days that we didn't see a ray of sunshine at all. In fact, by Friday night it was so cold (around 40 degrees) that I knew it was time to buy Kai some fall/winter jammies. Kai now has new ultra-cute jammies, thanks to Colorado's rain. Oh, and the green on the mountains now extends up about half-way. Wow-who would have thought?!

Hey Angie!
You weren't kidding about the solids and poopy diapers...oh my goodness...its funky with a capital "F"!!!
James is 5 months old next week! Oh my goodness I am awestruck by how fast time is going.
we have him eating peas, prunes, apples and rice cereal. I think next week we will start him on sweet potatoes.
By the way - I LOVE the quote you have on your blog that is underneath Kai's 15 month old picture. Truer words were never spoken.
I hope all is going well for you - I miss you and I know I am a lame friend for not calling, but I think of you often and always look at your blog.
