That's a Wrap!

School ended so early this year that it kind of caught me off guard.  While we went through the end of the school year motions, it never seemed to really click for me.  I'm sure the weather did not help that at all either.  Anyway, we did finish school on May 19th (yes, it's gosh darn early!) and now we are moving on to our summer adventures.  It's been a good school year.  Finn had a fantastic teacher who I wish we could take on to 1st grade with us.  And Kai has finally moved into the full GE program (he will spend half of his days next year with the GE teachers) and showed quite a bit of improvement on his MAP testing scores.  I am so proud of how far both boys have come.
Right after school ended a family from our ward was moving.  So, on nearly the last day of school we had the two youngest boys over to play while their mom packed.  The youngest is named Isaac (or Eyes-kick) as Bree says) and according to Bree he is her best friend.  He is a super happy, cuddly 2 year-old.  We had a great time having them over.

They had fun playing the piano.

Later that day Bree and I spent some time at school helping Finn's teacher do some clean up.  We got to scrub out the lockers. Cute Bree actually fit inside the lockers!

The last day of 3rd grade.  He has grown so much this year.  (Growth hormone has really helped him out.)  He's gained nearly 4 inches and 6 pounds during the school year.

I can't believe he is going into 1st grade.  I'm excited for him.  It will be a whole new adventure that will be fun to navigate.

I asked Kai to make a list of what he thought his responsibilities were for the summer.  This is what he came up with!  He sure does have high expectations for himself!  But I am using this as a guide to help us organize our summer.
